Hands-On Astronomy
student in 12.409 Hands-On Astronomy: Observing Stars and Planets

Cambridge and Lowell, MA

February – May 2017

In 12.409, I photographed the Moon, planets, satellites, stars, and deep-space objects. I made weekly observations of the night sky from the roof of MIT with an 8" telescope. I took a few trips to Wallace Observatory in western Massachusetts to see darker skies and use larger instruments.
